To get the most out of the course, you’ll need just a few essentials:

An iPad
I’m using an iPad Pro 11” in the course, but any iPad compatible with Procreate will work.
(Some older iPad mini models from around 2015 may not be supported. Newer iPad mini versions are perfectly fine.)

An Apple Pencil
I use the Apple Pencil (2nd generation), but any Apple Pencil model is suitable for this course.

The Procreate App
Simply download Procreate from the App Store before you begin.

Is there a specific iPad you recommend for this course?

Almost any iPad compatible with Procreate will work for this course.
In the lessons, I’m using an iPad Pro 11”, but you can comfortably follow along with other iPad models and sizes as well.

The only exception is some older iPad versions, such as iPad mini models from around 2015. Newer iPad mini versions work perfectly with Procreate.

Personally, I prefer the iPad Pro 11” because it offers a great balance. It’s large enough for comfortable drawing, yet compact and portable enough to fit easily into a backpack or carry-on.
